Mr. Ahmad Faraz

My journey into the field of Atmospheric Sciences is deeply intertwined with my upbringing and the challenges I faced in my early years. Growing up in a family where higher education was a distant dream, I learned the value of perseverance and determination from an early age.
Inspired by my mother's vision and fueled by my own curiosity, I embarked on a journey into the field of Geomatics (GIS/RS) at the University of Peshawar. This decision marked the beginning of my exploration into the realms of spatial analysis and remote sensing, laying the groundwork for my future endeavors in Atmospheric Sciences.
Upon graduating in August 2022, I seized the opportunity to further my knowledge and skills as a GIS Intern at the Space Application and Research Center (SPARCENT) in Peshawar. Under the Space Education and Awareness Drive program, initiated by the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), I delved into the world of research and scientific inquiry, gaining invaluable insights and experiences along the way.
As a crucial component of my bachelor's program, I undertook a research project in my eighth semester titled "Identification of Groundwater Potential Zones Using Multi-Influence Factor Approach: A Study of District Mohmand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa." Focusing on this underprivileged district, our research assessed seven key parameters: geology, lineament, soil, slope, rainfall, land use/land cover, and drainage density.
