Professional Summary

Results-driven software engineering student with hands-on experience in geospatial analytics, environmental data, and scientific software development. As a Software Development Intern at Afzar Consultants LLC (Jul 2025), contributed to a hydraulic simulation tool by co-developing core functionality, working closely with engineers to initialize and validate calculations, and producing clear technical documentation. In hackathon settings, helped build “Urban Heat Lens,” a data-driven application that used NASA MODIS land surface temperature products and UAE meteorological records to visualize, predict, and propose mitigation strategies for Urban Heat Island effects in Downtown Dubai. Also co-developed “Anthos Terra” for the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025, integrating multi-sensor datasets (MODIS MOD13A1, Landsat, VIIRS, and UAE statistics) to deliver interactive bloom maps, trend analysis, and predictive insights for plant phenology in Abu Dhabi. Together, these experiences demonstrate strong abilities in working with open datasets, collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, and translating complex environmental and engineering problems into practical, data-backed software solutions.
