I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus. I holds a Ph.D. in Hydrological Modeling and Climate Change Impacts from IIT Roorkee, an M.Tech. in Water Resources Engineering from IIT Delhi, and a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from KNIT Sultanpur.
My research focuses on climate change impacts, hydrological modeling, hydro-climatic extremes, water resources management, and the application of remote sensing, GIS, and machine learning techniques in environmental studies. I have gained international research exposure through academic visits to renowned institutions, including UNESCO-IHE (Netherlands), the University of Tokyo (Japan), and ICTP (Italy). He is a recipient of the Netherlands Fellowship and the International Travel Support (ITS) award from DST-SERB, India.
With experience spanning academia and the hydropower industry, I am actively involved in interdisciplinary research addressing climate resilience, sustainable water resources management, and the impacts of land-use and land-cover change on hydro-climatic systems.
