Professional Summary

I am a PhD candidate at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, specialising in agricultural drought vulnerability, remote sensing and climate risk modelling across the Danube River Basin — an 8-country transboundary system feeding over 80 million people.

My work combines satellite-derived climate indices (SPEI-3, ESI, SWI), geospatial analysis and machine learning to build decision-support tools for food and water security. My first-author paper, published in the International Journal of Climatology (Wiley, 2025), introduces an Integrated Drought Vulnerability Index validated across two decades of data.

Beyond academia I hold the Google AI Professional Certificate and am completing the IBM Machine Learning Professional Certificate — bridging research-grade earth science with industry-ready ML pipelines.

Actively seeking roles in EO, climate tech, AgTech and geospatial AI — globally, remote-first, open to relocation for the right team.
